Please join us for a free screening of this documentary film exploring the world of EMTs and Paramedics, the collapse of the EMS system, and what needs to be done to save it. The 4 Corners was a primary filming location.
Following the movie, a Q&A Panel Discussion will address the issues discussed in the movie and how they impact our region and the state EMS system. We are super excited to announce that the filmmaker Bryony Gilbey will be joining us for this special evening!
We start the night off with a Regional EMS Provider Appreciation Meet-n-Greet Reception at 5:00pm, outside the Concert Hall, courtesy of our sponsors.

About the film
What if you called for an ambulance and one never came?
The goal of our documentary is to raise awareness of the systemic collapse of EMS and to advocate for change. Shockingly, most states don’t mandate the provision of EMS, so funding is unpredictable and inadequate. There is a critical workforce shortage, particularly in rural areas, which in turn has lead to much longer response times.
This is something that will affect all of us and we should be very concerned.
Producer Bryony Gilbey is a former CBS News 60 Minutes and ABC producer and mother of three EMS professionals. This is a very personal project for her and in fact she has self-financed all of the production costs to date.
Producer Richard Diefenbach is a former broadcast news journalist (ABC/CBS/FOX), professional history and English teacher, and owner of RPD Media Associates, LLC.
